Dyno performance tuning is a method of measuring power by putting the vehicles engine under load. Dyno tuning your GTO / Camaro / Corvette / Firebird etc. is the most accurate way to extract the most performance and fuel economy from the GM LS series of engines while maintaining perfect driveability. We also provide "street tuning" which is a seat of the pants style tune, providing similar to dyno performance results for factory computer equipped Camaros, Corvettes, Firebirds and GTOs.
For example, a Z06 C6 Corvette has a factory calibrated computer is setup to run at stachiometric or an air to fuel ratio of 14.7 (or slightly higher) which is mainly to stratify emissions standards. However, modifications that lean out the fuel mixture and provide better "breathing" are not accounted for at the factory and will reduce the corvette's performance and mileage if not properly tuned for the performance parts added to it.
Intake, exhaust, headers, throttle bodies, turbochargers... the list goes on and on but they all have one thing in common - they won't perform at full potential without proper computer tuning.
